Read-only AI access

KeyRing MCP connector

KeyRing's remote Model Context Protocol (MCP) server lets AI assistants, including Claude, ChatGPT, Muse and others, read a landlord's KeyRing data with their permission.

Connect your assistant

  1. Add a custom remote MCP connector in your AI assistant using this endpoint: https://api.keyringpm.com/v1/mcp.
  2. Sign in with your KeyRing account and approve access to the account you want to connect.
  3. Ask about your properties, units, maintenance requests, equipment, unmapped bank transactions, leases, rent status, tenants, or a financial summary.

Support for custom remote MCP connectors may vary by client.

Your data and permissions

Assistants can read only the data your role can access in the connected KeyRing account. Property tools share the connected account's role access.

For unit and lease data, monthly_rent is included only when the account's See finances permission allows it.

list_leases omits monthly_rent without See finances. list_rent_status and get_financial_summary require See finances access; requests are denied without it.

Both bank tools require See finances access. Bank mapping suggestions are read-only proposals; you map transactions in the KeyRing app.

AI-generated bank categorizations depend on KeyRing's AI categorization setting. Rule, amount, and history-based suggestions remain available.

Access is read-only and never moves money or changes records. Rate and AI usage limits apply.

Revoke access any time in Settings > MCP Connections.

get_financial_summary

Income, expenses and net cash flow for a date range, for the whole account, one property or one company: the totals the Financials page shows.
